Perform like one.

Fuel Your Runs with Power NOW

Eat like an athlete. Perform like one.

You train with discipline.
You eat “healthy.”
But you’re still feeling fatigued, dealing with recurring injuries, or wondering why your performance is plateauing.

You’re experiencing:
  • Unexplained fatigue or low energy
  • Recurrent injuries or illness
  • Mood dips or poor sleep
  • Irregular periods or hormonal changes
  • Slower recovery or performance plateaus
You’re doing the work.
Getting out the door.
Logging the miles.
You’ve probably tried every diet under the sun to maintain your body composition, or to improve energy and performance.

But instead of feeling strong and energized;
  • You’re dragging through your runs
  • Bouncing between fatigue and frustration
  • Dealing with nagging injuries or burnout
  • Constantly wondering: Am I eating enough? Am I doing this right?
Even the most dedicated runners unknowingly miss the mark on nutrition. You may be eating "clean", but you still feel like you’re “running on empty.”

You’re confused and exhausted — there’s so much noise about what to eat, when to eat, and how much to eat, and it’s overwhelming to figure out what’s actually TRUE.
It doesn’t have to be that way!
Figuring out how to fuel your run doesn’t have to feel like you’re standing on your head.
Imagine…
…knowing exactly what to eat and when.

…understanding nutrition for your unique body, and your unique goals.

…being able to turn off all the ‘noise’ out there around nutrition for performance, and be clear on the science of what is actually true.

Here’s What People Are Saying

“I wouldn’t have won the 24-hour mountain bike race without Dr. Botsford’s support.

Her tailored nutrition plan helped me recover faster, train harder, and stay race-ready. Thanks to her, I felt strong, knew how to fuel for the race, and manage period pain on the race day. Dr. Botsford has transformed my approach to fueling, and I’m seeing and feeling the benefits as an athlete.” - TK

"I have loved my experience with Dr. Botsford.

We addressed my nutrition needs as an endurance athlete and I was so apprehensive about the idea of “adding calories and carbs” however instead of pushing the idea or adding stress she asked me “how do you feel about adding 1/4 cup of rice” she broke down something so big and made it manageable, not scary. We’ve worked on race nutrition needs and timing as well as everyday nutrition needs. I feel so prepared and in tune with my body and its needs, fueling for a marathon, an ultra , even a 5 km race I feel ready and strong!” - MC

Meet Dr. Briana Botsford

Hey there! I’m Dr. Briana Botsford, a naturopathic doctor and multidisciplinary clinic owner in Edmonton Alberta Canada.

When I’m not with patients, I spend a lot of my time in spandex, running, biking and lifting weights.
I was a personal trainer back in the day, and I was frustrated by all the health misinformation available to my clients. I went back to school to become a naturopathic doctor so I could help female athletes feel their best and perform at their peak.

When I trained for my first ironman triathlon, I ended up with a tibial stress fracture and absolutely raging PMS. I wasn’t particularly underweight, but DEFINITELY suffered from disordered eating habits. Because I didn’t look like I had an eating disorder, I was never diagnosed with energy deficiency, an imbalance of my exercise energy output and my lack of nutritional intake.

It took me 7 years to decide to train for my next ironman triathlon and that was AFTER I became an ND with a special interest in women’s health and performance.

I understand how easy it can be to prioritize body composition over performance and how easy it can be to unintentionally under-eat, wreaking havoc on hormone health, energy levels and causing injuries.

When I realized I wasn’t the only patient who’d been missed, I spent 18 months creating a course for clinicians to teach them how to help their athletes prevent energy deficiency. I’ve lectured to clinicians on this topic over and over.

What stood out to me is that even though I was teaching the doctors what to do to help their patients, the patients still didn’t have the information in their hands. It was a bit like a game of telephone, plus, it’s impossible to be an expert in every medical field.

I created Energy for Every Stride: Nutrition to Power Women’s Running so patients could access my knowledge and create a fueling strategy that works for their unique needs.

With this program, you get access to all my insight on this topic, AND you get actionable resources to apply the concepts you’ll learn based on your own unique needs!

Here’s What People Are Saying

“I first went to Dr Botsford while training for my first multi day race to address some challenges I had been having with nutrition, energy levels and hormones.

Even though my goals were lofty, she didn’t blink an eye, instead she helped me understand how to fuel correctly for the training I was doing, and gave lots of great strategies to try during my big race to keep me going. Not only did her advice help me increase my energy and get my period back after losing it for many months, but for the first time ever, I nailed my in-race nutrition perfectly. I’m so grateful she took the time to understand me and my goals to help set me up for success. “ - JS

“I scrolled through Instagram and found someone advocating for women, 'you don’t have to feel bad' was the lesson I took away.

I sent the reel to a friend and was like ‘one day I’m just going to go see her, as long as she doesn’t tell me I can’t eat cheese I’m in’ fast forward a handful of years and here we are - I went and haven’t left ( I still eat cheese)!" - ??
